Privacy policy

Case Takumi, LLC ("Case Takumi," "we," "us") runs this store. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: what you write to us by email or through the contact form, the feedback form or chat, plus your name and email. Feedback you send from the site also includes the page you were on, your device type, what's in your cart, and the card you were previewing, so we can understand the issue.
When you sign up for emails or texts: your email address, and your phone number if you sign up for texts.
When you create an account: your login details and order history.
When you browse: your device, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and how you use the site (pages viewed, products added to cart). This is collected with cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

To process and ship orders, handle returns, answer questions, send order updates, send marketing emails and texts if you've signed up, understand and improve the site, and prevent fraud and spam.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the store:

Shopify: hosts the store, checkout and payments.
Shipping carriers: to deliver your order.
Google Analytics: shows us how visitors use the site.
hCaptcha: protects our forms from spam.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't currently run targeted advertising.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic with Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the store may not work fully without them. We respect the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of your data.

Marketing emails and texts

If you sign up, we'll send you emails or text messages about new products and offers.

Emails: every email has an unsubscribe link.
Texts: we send marketing texts only if you've agreed to receive them. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
Your phone number: we don't share it, or your agreement to receive texts, with third parties for their own marketing.

Even after you unsubscribe, we'll still contact you about orders you've placed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. To make a request, email us at support@casetakumi.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our store isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons. Other information is kept only as long as it's useful for the purposes above.
